“One bag of blood can bring back one from the dead”. In such spirit a Voluntary Blood Donation Drive was organized by the Social Welfare Committee of KMC on the 24th of August. The venue for the event was the Kasturba Hospital Blood Centre. The camp started at 8am and went on till 7pm.
The Head of blood bank Dr. Shamee Shastry leading the endeavour. Many students, teachers, and college staff along with localites donated blood and became a part of the program.
A Certificate of appreciation, donation card, refreshment was given to each donor as a token of gratitude. At the end of the day it was a successful drive that rendered a great service to humanity.
