4-0 PROLENE WORKSHOP- CUTTING EDGE

On the 13 and 14th of March, Cutting Edge organised a skill-packed stimulating workshop called ‘4-0 Prolene’. Four important clinical skills were taught over the two days. Participants were given the opportunity to practice Dressings and Catheterization on the simulation models in the clinical skills laboratory.

Knots and Subcuticular Sutures were taught in the Interact Lecture halls. The event was attended by 85 participants from the 2nd, 3rd and 4th years. The workshop was organised and taught by the members of the Cutting Edge team. Dr Vivek Udupi kindly supervised the teaching of dressings, which was a new skill introduced. The heads for the workshop were Sanjana Nanda and Mrunmayee Nerlikar.

At the end of both days, a quiz was conducted to test the knowledge of the participants. The winners of the quiz were Afthab Muhammad and Kavya Ganesh.
