SHOCK, TRAUMA AND RESUSITATION: TEMPUS PRETIOSO

On 28th August 2024, the emergency medicine club of KMC Manipal organized an exciting and exclusive workshop called ‘Shock, Trauma and Resuscitation’ that taught participants advanced skills like chest tube drainage, POCUS, pelvic binding, wound repair, intra venous and intra osseous line. All skills were taught by members of the club with great enthusiasm and efforts. Participants were also engaged in high simulation exercises that helped them review and practice the skills taught and understand their application in actual emergency settings.

The event was headed by Dhriti Bharadwaj and Sanshrita Khamesra. There were a total of 28 participants attending the workshop held at the library simulation lab. The workshop started at 2pm and ended at 5pm. The event was insightful and comprehensive teaching students the essential high yield emergency skills with simulation-based training.

We hope to see many more exciting workshops from Tempus Pretioso.
