The Literary Committee of KMC Manipal imbibes this poetic notion into it’s very essence. As an inclusive platform, all forms of talent are encouraged and nourished in the committee. To that extent the Literary Committee organises it’s flagship event , LitCipher, our beloved annual event that brings students from all the esteemed institutes of MAHE under one elite competition.  

The Literary Committee is the foremost authority for all competitions related to Public Speaking, Creative Writing, Art, Photography and Quizzes. Furthermore the Literary Committee organises year round events and competitions in collaboration with other committees while also serving as an online platform open to all artists.

The Sports Committee of KMC is dedicated to developing and nurturing the sporting culture in every one of us. Comprising of passionate athletes from various sports, the committee organises and oversees numerous events throughout the academic year. These range from multiple premier leagues for different sports to even fundraising sports fests. Our goal is to highlight the importance of sports and its values in the holistic development of a student.

The Editorial Board is a vibrant collective of creatives and curators, united by a shared passion for capturing moments and giving them a voice. We believe in the power of words and visuals to inspire, inform, and connect, and through our work, we strive to document the essence of campus life. From covering events to spotlighting talent, we bring the stories of our college to life. Our flagship initiatives include the Festival of Ideas, a celebration of creativity and expression, and Signum Vitalis, the cherished yearbook that beautifully threads together memories, milestones, and the spirit of each batch. With every article, every photo, and every page, we preserve legacies, celebrate journeys, and build a lasting archive of who we are and what we share.

The Social Welfare Committee is driven by a shared passion to create positive change and foster a culture of kindness. We believe that small acts of compassion can make a big impact, and through our collective efforts, we aim to uplift communities, support those in need, and inspire others to do good. Our team is full of motivated individuals who are dedicated to making the world a better place—one thoughtful gesture, one meaningful initiative at a time. Together, we nurture kindness, spread positivity, and turn good intentions into real, lasting action.

The Student Research Forum (SRF) is a passionate community dedicated to fostering a culture of research and academic bravado. We support students throughout their research journey by organizing interactive workshops, guidance sessions and facilitating connections between students and faculty mentors. SRF also engages in conference outreach, ICMR STS guidance and External Exam support to broaden professional exposure. 

Our flagship fest, Vedam, is a premier academic conference that features research and case presentations, hands-on workshops, and expert-led sessions.

We are committed to making research a core part of every student’s journey and we aim to build a dynamic research culture that drives innovation, collaboration, and real-world impact.

The Finance Committee is dedicated to fostering financial literacy and responsibility among students while ensuring the smooth management of finances for various college events. The committee plays a pivotal role in budgeting for major events, securing sponsorships, managing stall revenues, disbursing cash prizes and so on with accuracy. Beyond event management, the committee also serves as a vital link between the student body and the college finance office, promoting clarity and accountability in financial processes. We aim to equip students with essential financial skills that contribute to their holistic development.
