The NSS organised a fundraiser marathon on 15 May 2025, panning a total distance of 5k, with
KMC greens as both the start and end point. With a spectacular turnout of 271 participants, all
the money raised went towards the Kasturba Hospital Paediatric Oncology department. A show
of stamina and determination, with volunteers posted at regular intervals to offer refreshments
and encouragement, the marathon was a great success.
In the male category, Mr. Prayag Shetty came in first, with Dr. Pranav bagging second and Mr. Sunil Menon third. In the women’s category, Ms. Lishita Bopana finished first, Ms. Neeti in second position and Ms. Archana third. However, running for such an important cause, every participant proved to be a winner
irrespective of crossing the finish line.
