On 26th and 27th February 2025, Tempus Pretioso, the Emergency Medicine club of KMC Manipal organised a thrilling hands on workshop called Learn EM skills for the new first years to orient then with the basics of emergency medicine. It’s the most awaited and enthusiastically participated workshop held by the club targeting the first years exclusively.
The event took place in the clinical skills lab from 5-7pm on both the days. A total of 66 participants attended the event. Students were taught a variety of skills by the club members like lumbar puncture, spine stabilisation, respiratory auscultation and CVS examination. All the skills were taught by the talented Tempus Pretioso members. The event was concluded by a quiz for better understanding of what was taught.
The participants were enthusiastic and curious making the event a huge success. We look forward to more such amazing workshops from Tempus pretioso.
