Invictus 2025 came to an end on the 14th of May, 2025. It was an immensely successful event, and had a huge turnout. Many different institutions from all over the country took part in a variety of events over the course of this week, and what we got to see as a result can only be described as a week of sporting frenzy and exuberant culture. The KMC greens transformed into a vibrant hub of passion and creativity, which was a sight to behold.
The final day marked the end of the various sports events. These included back and forth games of basketball, long and cagey rallies of badminton, tactically brilliant innings of cricket, as well as masterclasses in skill and solidity as commonly seen in the beautiful game. Lightning quick athletes could be seen gunning for first place over at the race track, with a flurry of punchy puck shots heard not too far away, at the hockey arena. All of these sporting events had their final games on this day, greatly adding to the suspense felt all around the campus.
With all the sporting events going on, it wouldn’t be unfair to assume that there wasn’t much of an air of culture. This wasn’t the case though, as there was a short film screening held as part of the overarching fest. The top five films from one of the events from an earlier day were on display as part of the screening. This was a display of incredible cinematic prowess and creative expression.

Invictus is celebrated as more than just a fest. It is an integral part of KMC Manipal’s legacy. Not only did this edition of the fest do justice to said legacy, it served to build on it significantly. All in all, it can be stated with a great deal of certainty that Invictus 2024 went above and beyond.
