On 28th June, the Social Welfare Committee of KMC along with the Kasturba Hospital Blood Centre, held a Blood Donation Drive at Interact Lecture Halls from 9:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. A total of 21 people donated blood, which each giving 400 ml of blood.
It is said that 1 unit of blood can save upto 3 lives, and students as well the mess staff of Chef on Wheels, decided to help out with this noble cause.
The students of the Social Welfare Committee, worked tirelessly, from class announcements, to social media posters to even visiting the individual clinical departments, they did everything to make this Blood Donation Drive a success.
