Invictus was power-packed not just by our amazing sports, cultural and literary schedule but also by celebrities that showed up for the fest. The ProShow was a resounding success, leaving the audience in awe of the performers’ talents. The dedication and hard work that went into creating such a high-quality production were evident throughout the event. The ProShow team, our amazing and energetic emcees Tanya Jaiswal and Sidhant Tomer, sound, light, security and everyone involved from management team both students and institution worked tirelessly to bring this amazing experience.
After 3 days of immense competitiveness, adrenaline rush, winning and losing, crowds thronged to KMC Greens to kick back and relax at the Invictus ProShow starring famous stand up comedian, Karunesh Talwar. To open up for him was another amazingly talented artist Denver Lobo . He himself is a comedian from our hometown Manipal itself. Its been 3 years now and he has been opening shows for other big names in the community.
And then comes the star of the evening, the comedian took the stage and immediately had the audience laughing with their opening joke. Throughout the evening, the comedian kept the audience entertained with their witty observations, hilarious anecdotes, and relatable stories. A lively and enjoyable show, it is sure to have rejuvenated the audience after a long and tiring day
We were done half of the fest but the fun is yet to ramp up. What’s better than wrapping an entire day of fun with a chilling DJ Night? Its been one of the Manipal’s warmest and humid week but it didn’t bothered to our audience. The event was opened by none other than DJ Samyak. He is pursuing MBBS in KMC Manipal itself. He does shows in various places and already has his fanbase established. The atmosphere became palpable with the energy of the audience, who enthusiastically grooved to the music of DJ Swattrex. The humid baggage of the day melted off as soon as the show started. Those were the moments of glee and gusto, and a good time was had by all.
And we kept one of the beautiful evenings to experience for the end. From “Tanha Dil” to “Chand Sifarish”, from “All Izz Well” to “Behti Hawa Sa Tha Voh” and from “It’s Time too Disco” to “Jab Se Tere Naina”, this artist has ruled over genres and audiences for over 2 decades. An amazing Indian playback singer, composer and actor, who lent his voice to some of the most memorable songs of Indian Cinema, it was our great pleasure to host and have none other than Shantanu Mukherjee aka Shaan with us.
Faculties, students and the whole of Manipal danced away to the tunes of 2010s Bollywood. It was a night full of cheers, nostalgia and moves. He gave such an energy packed performance and so did his band members. Few of his fans had moment of their lifetime when one of them got to perform in front of him and his amazing band members.
