“Insulin is not a cure for diabetes; it is a treatment.”
Widely regarded as the diabetic capital of the world, India is home to approximately 77 million diabetics. Thus, it becomes all the more important to raise awareness on diabetes – a lifestyle disease, and an easily preventable one at that.
World Diabetes Day is celebrated on 14th November and in honour of this day, the Department of Endocrinology, KMC Manipal, in association with the Student Council and the Editorial Board of KMC Manipal is conducting and E-Poster competition on the theme, ‘Living Well With Diabetes’.
