Cultural committee
The Cultural Committee is a group of talented individuals responsible for organising inter and intra college cultural events throughout the year. We not only strive to bring out out the best in each performer, but also promote their skills so that they can excel in their respective fields. The Cultural Commitee has a number of clubs under its umbrella including ones of dance (Cygnus and Phoenix), music (Cadenza), fashion (Purple Haze) and dramatics (Aaghaz). We work with them to bring exciting events throughout the year, that keeps both, participants and organizers on their toes.

The Literary committee
Literary Committee of KMC Manipal organizes fests like Verve (intracollege), Invictus and Utsav(intercollege). It also organizes various other events round the year, including workshops and open mics. Public speaking, creative writing,art, quizzing and photography are some of the broad divisions that come under the aegis of the committee but we are willing to explore and include other events under the supervision of our dynamic and highly efficient team.

Social welfare committee
The Social Welfare Committee of KMC functions to serve the underprivileged sector of society.
Our little family with big hearts and an unshakeable spirit works with the sole aim of lending a helping hand and spreading a glimmer of hope and priceless happiness by conducting fundraisers like Sportquake, C’est la vie and Allons-Y to various donation drives. The proceeds are mainly directed towards Udaan, the scholarship fund, Samskriti, the child welfare fund and the girl child fund. Our motive is to work tirelessly to give back to the society and put a smile on as many faces as possible.

THE EDITORIAL BOARD
The Editorial Board aims to showcase talent across the college in the form of Art, Photography and Writing through the premier content put up on social media, Yearbook – Signum Vitalis and most notably the Festival of Ideas.
The Festival of Ideas is a fest organized by the Editorial Board and consists of workshops and competitions which enable people to build upon their creativity and exhibit their talent.
We capture the best moments of throughout the year through written and photographic coverage. At the Editorial Board, we firmly believe that medicine is incomplete without an understanding and deep appreciation for the finer arts.

Led by research oriented minds, the Student Research Forum aims to promote undergraduate research by connecting like minded individuals, introducing them to mentors and streamlining the entire process. We organize workshops and talks by experts in the field, aimed towards guiding and motivating future researchers, as well as giving them an idea about how the whole process works- right from how to choose a topic, to publishing your research paper!

Finance committee
The Finance Committee is made up of a small group of people that collaborate with all other clubs and committees to oversee the financial aspects of every festival and event held at the college. The entire committee works together to guarantee that the reimbursement procedure, as well as obtaining sponsorships and dispersing prize money, is well-organized. We manage the budgets of numerous clubs and committees and serve as a liaison between them and the college’s financial department.
